Review on LG 27GQ50F B Ultragear Reduction Borderless 165Hz Gaming Monitor - 27GQ50F-B.AUSQ by Erik Bories

I had an xfa240 but decided to upgrade (Xbox wise) to something that would give me 120hz. My choice fell on: Zepter E2558B-1658A and Aoc AG241QX. The Aoc was overpriced so it was either that or the Sceptra. I chose this one because of a YouTube review where a guy said the colors look great on this monitor. I can sign this statement. This monitor looks beautiful right out of the box. The only thing I changed was loose sync, response time, brightness and I was ready to go. This monitor gave me 120Hz on my Xbox One x, which is what I was looking for. Xbox gamers all, get yourself a 120Hz monitor, it really makes a difference when you're gaming no matter what the geeks say! The reticle they provide you with is PERFECT. I once had an Asus vg245h and couldn't handle their oversized crosshairs, but the simple red + symbol on this monitor is perfect! The only downside I see with this monitor is that you can't save settings, well you partially can. Every time I turn on my Xbox I have to go into settings and turn on the crosshair but what I chose for my free sync and response time stays the same so idk. I wish I had a custom settings option where everything is the way I like it. Another downside is that the port's position causes the cables to protrude. I had a wall mount that was close to the wall which was fine with the xfa240 but the problem is with this monitor. This was very narrow for HDMI cables and impossible for the DVI connector. Luckily, Microcenter had one, a little more space away from the wall, for $10. There are also no speakers in the monitor, but I knew that before I bought it. Creative Pebbles are a great $20 addition. All in all, this was a great purchase for me. A few years ago I read reviews where people said their screen went completely white after a while. I hope LG fixed these issues and this doesn't happen to me again in the future.
