I hope you get a good size reference using my standard makeup sponge! If you apply tons of makeup and have tons of makeup palettes, that's not going to be enough. If you like just the basics that you need to put on in 10 minutes before getting down to business, this is a DREAM! Love how it keeps your brushes neat and separated! As someone who loves "perfect fit" and great deals, for the price this is a dream come true! The bag is not flimsy. It's actually a pretty strong feeling. I'm not worried about zippers if you want to fit more in your bag than I do. Overall, that's a ten for me!
