The hangers hook nicely through the belt loops for my pants and my husband's, but in each case the front of the pants hangs forward making it difficult to get around them hang up neatly. Folded in half and draped over a hanger, hangers pair well with jeans and similar pants with a rougher texture. However, on smooth pants like my dress pants, my husband's dress, and golf pants, the "grip" part doesn't keep the pants on the hanger. I liked how the hangers 'lift' things higher than regular hangers, allowing more room under clothes. I also liked the ability to hang the hanger with the open end facing out. This makes it easier to put on and take off the clothes hanger. Overall a good hanger but not as versatile as I was hoping.
