Review on High Performance 500GB 2.5 Inch SATA Laptop Internal Hard Drive - Ideal for Laptop/Mac/PS3 (500 GB) by Hugo Caywood

I installed this drive in my CCTV DVR to replace the 200GB drive. It looks and feels like any Seagate, WD, or high-end model, but at a fraction of the cost. The connections are also reliable. My cheap DVR recognized it straight away, formatted it with no problems, and started recording with no problems. I can now set the frame rate to 30 fps and it has over 8 days of continuous security video on it now. The DVR is in a garage without air conditioning where the temperature exceeds 90 degrees. The drive continues to work without failures, I did not notice excessive heating of the device. I am very pleased with the performance of this drive. I would buy the exact same one to use in a similar situation.
