This is really ingenious and skilfully done. I don't have a laptop docking station so I bought this to keep the cables handy whenever I want to use my laptop on my desk. I have a glass monitor stand that holds the monitor. I attached the base to the bottom of the monitor stand (using the included self-adhesive backing), so the cables are essentially suspended from the bottom of the stand and hidden inside, but slide out easily. when I want to connect and slide them to my laptop. He's under the bar. They are great but I'll only give 5 if there are no restrictions. As with all sticky pads, make sure the surface is flat, dry and very clean. I had to leave the bases overnight with nothing attached before they would stick strong enough to hold the cables. Of course I use them upside down to hang the cable, but I would say the glue could be a bit stronger. In terms of cable sizes, they were a perfect match for my smaller cables (power, USB - although the USB 3 cable was very narrow). The HDMI cable didn't fit - I ended up using a small zip tie to secure the anchor to the cable. This works very well, but I'd like to have a slightly larger model for those thicker cables.
