Don't think you can get a better head for this price. Very strong and solid ball head. Compared to the Leofoto LH-30 I would say the Leofoto is superior in every way except holding power. The LH30 tends to go down unless you reapply friction control when you want to point the lens down. Not this ball head, it holds it in place without moving. Otherwise the ball head is good, but not as perfect as the LH30. Of course, you're talking about a $26 ballhead, not a $125 ballhead. But if I didn't have the LH30 I wouldn't hesitate to use this one instead. Wishlist: Something simpler. It seems to be too heavy compared to the LH30. Ball motion could have been smoother, but I think it's part of the holding power. Slightly lower profile. could be a plus or minus and i know the more expensive model is lower but $80 and heavier. I don't want a heavy ball head. For your information. I've had Arca Swiss Z1, RRS BH-40, RRS BH-25, Markins Q3 so I know what I want and this one is good enough to use with some caveats.
