I had a Belkin brand strap that lasted 3 or 4 years. I liked it but it slipped easily. This bandage doesn't slip off easily, so that's a plus. Another plus is that it is more comfortable (soft and soft!). Here are my complaints: 1. The plastic cover is not smooth, so the controls are uncomfortable. When I run and try to shift the sound down or up, the iPod can't read me at first. When I have trouble turning up the volume, I either prick up my ears or turn the volume down so I can't hear anything. Also when I try to jump to another song it usually doesn't work on the first try.2. There is only one side with a hole. This is the side where you insert the iPod. On the other side there is a small hole for connecting earbuds. If I want to charge my iPod, I have to take it completely out of the wristband. For the price it's not such a bad product.
