Review on JW Pet Company Activitoys Assorted by Leah Johnson

I have several parrots and in May I adopted a cockatiel. Unfortunately he was not hand fed and was caged with several other cockatiels. I'm sure because he was missing her, not being hand fed and getting used to his new surroundings, the first few weeks after I brought him home he was terrified of most things. I figured a mirror would help him and looked around at local pet stores, Wal-Mart, Target, etc and no one wears bird mirrors anymore. I was happy to find it and bought it for my cockatiel Chico and he loves it. I placed it right over one of his plates of food, and aside from going "downstairs" to drink water, he pretty much sat in front of her the whole time. I also bought him a mirror from JW Pet Company - a little green oval with a bell - and he'll be playing with the bells, but that's about it. With the Hall of Mirrors, he is practically connected to it. He spends a lot of time outside the cage and gradually gets used to things, but when he's in a cage he's almost always sitting right in front of this mirror. And at night, when he goes to bed, he sleeps snuggled so close to her that he's practically hugging her. This is a quality product and I love how it connects to the cage. It was a stroke of luck for Chico.
