The reviews are misleading. It all falls into you get what you pay for. This is not high end and its not low end. Its a mid range great starter set. I made a small basic tunisian crochet swatch and it was simple, no snags, and somewhat comfortable to hold. I do reccomend wiping off all the crochet hooks with a dry cloth, there is a slight film on them. But would I buy it again or as a gift. Yes I would. The case is noce and sturdy, I tested out the zipper and it never snagged or stalled. It could be about 1/2 in taller to fit all the tunisian hooks on one side, but again, you get what you pay for.
