Gave my wired audio system away, wanted wireless speakers and a subwoofer, bought the YSP-1600 a few months ago, was very happy with the soundbar, recently bought the subwoofer 100 while I waited for a wireless connection to the YSP-1600. After spending many hours setting up MusicCast to wirelessly connect the YSP-1600 and Sub 100, I contacted support to be informed that the wireless connection between the YSP-1600 and Sub 100 is NOT supported. What is misleading is that you can add Sub 100 to MultiCast, update the firmware and connect to the internet. but the soundbar doesn't "talk" to the subwoofer. You must use a subwoofer cable. Why I got over $500 when I could keep my old subwoofer. Hopefully the Yamaha engineers will read this and add this feature to MusicCast.
