These carabiners are the same except an extra eye has been added on our tipping trailers. Straps and snap links along with them are used to hold doors open. Well, factory carabiners rust badly due to winter weather so they stick or fail after about a year. So these stainless carabiners are a must have. They get a little stiff when dirt gets into the loop, but a little tap and they work great again. Plus, a loop keeps them on trays and out of pockets. We also buy stainless steel quick links and use some red Loctite to keep them on our pendants and in our bags. Red Loctite on quick disconnect threads on both ends.
