For too long I've complained every time I've had to crush garlic with a professional garlic press (example: garlic press is MiTBA's best professional stainless steel appliance). Using and cleaning has never been quick or easy. Probably the most durable model I've ever owned, but still not perfect. I ended up having to grind the ginger for the recipe as I managed to squeeze it over myself and onto the 9ft kitchen ceiling. I decided to look for a new idea. There was no way I could use a garlic press on ginger, so I had an excuse to go shopping. (haha) I got it today and tried it - I loved it. It's very easy to clean. What made me take the risk was someone's comment on the chef's recommendation. I believe that using something over and over makes us appreciate every bit of simplicity and functionality. The boss sounded like a good user who can be trusted.
