A few months ago I was driving home from work and got stuck right after an accident that left us sitting in one place for over an hour. At that time, there are many cars around me trying to cross the middle strip of grass to get to the other side and get out of the traffic jam. The problem was we had a lot of snow and rain and the drainage in the area was poor so most of these cars got stuck and had to be pulled out. After seeing other cars with these seat belts we were able to help them and I decided to get one myself if I ever ran into a similar situation. I was surprised at how incredibly heavy this thing is. Turns out my mom has one in her car, but it's not that strong and long. I've never seen D-rings that heavy either! I'm glad it comes in a fairly flat zippered bag because I can stow it behind the seat in my pickup.
