To be honest I wasn't quite sure what to expect when ordering as there were many positive and negative reviews but I can say I was very happy with the product. The packaging was very secure and all the parts inside were safe and sound. This is the perfect size for a desk and is especially useful for a college student desk (good size for hair and makeup). The touch sensor worked very well and the light faded in and out much more smoothly than I expected. The lights themselves aren't too bright to the point of glaring, but bright enough to be able to see well even in a dark room if needed. Overall this is a great gift and the quality is definitely worth the price.
