Despite the pretty colors, these headbands are quite thin and won't absorb much liquid when used for cosmetics or makeup after the shower. The bigger problem, however, is that the Velcro that keeps the headbands closed are small pieces that aren't sewn on securely, don't have a strong hold, and because they're so small you can't adjust them to the size of your head. I thought it was good value for money, but I'd recommend spending a little more or a little less on headbands to get something more efficient.
