Review on πŸͺŸ Navy Blue Thermal Insulated Grommet Blackout Window Curtain Panels - 52"x84" with 2 Tie Backs by MIUCO by Thomas Drew

Fantastic curtains! High quality! Please don't hesitate to place an order!

Finally a product that does what it advertises. We put up these NAVY curtains yesterday in a stiffling hot attic bedroom with a small air conditioner that barely made a difference in the excessive heat. We kept looking at each other with each panel we hung because they blocked the heat and light as we were putting them up. It's now almost 6 pm and the curtains have been in place for 24 hours. I just went up there to check and actually lowered the a/c it was so cool. I knew the curtains would definitely help some, but I never ever expected them to work this well. We live on a busy street and have had to become used to the noise it brings. Once all 3 windows were done, we noticed right away the noise level had diminished. Although they said these curtains helped with noise, I couldn't imagine that was possible but it truly is. Now I'm looking forward to next month's utility bill instead of being afraid to open the envelope. The fabric is gorgeous! It is soft enough to be put around an infant. It is nothing like the old foam backed blackout curtains. I always wash anything new and these came out looking like they were ironed! Just put them in the dryer for a few minutes until almost dry then hang them. (I found out this company proudly sponsors and donates to the ASPCA. They sound like a pretty great company.) I'm going to see if they sell other products because I know I won't be disappointed. Please don't wait to try these like we did. The difference is amazing. Only one word of caution. We ordered Navy. The darker the color the stronger the black out. Lighter curtains will do everything they say, but they will let some light come through.

Pros
  • The curtains are an affordable solution for improving your home's insulation and reducing your energy bills
Cons
  • Could potentially attract dust
