Overall the mic works well if you want songs played at maximum volume throughout the house. However, there are two reasons I plan to bring this back and look for an alternative: - Basically, there is no mic volume control. There is a slider that should be a control, but at least mine has it either off (moved up to 75% at the bottom) or at full volume (moved up to 75% - 100%). There's really no control or difference in volume. Whenever you turn on the microphone, connect or disconnect a device, etc., the microphone screams "BLUETOOTH DEVICE CONNECTED” very loudly. As far as I can tell, this volume doesn't change with either microphone volume or music volume. It's very, very loud, long and destructive. My kids (and we) hate it. If you don't think these things bother you, then this is a fantastic microphone. Voice quality is good, there are many features and my kids love the reverb effect.
