Wow I'm really impressed with these tools for the price. They are not only beautiful, but also make a durable and well-made impression. Trimming the proximal nail folds/cuticles is not recommended, but I hit my finger with a car door, injuring the nail bed, and my nail fold on that finger became dry and detached from the nail. This tool is very sharp and easily cuts away the unsightly dead crease. I would not use this to cut out my other healthy wrinkles. To do this, I use another tool to gently push back the cuticles after applying cuticle softener or softening them in the shower.
