Review on Vintage Prestige Cycling Caps by John Roberts

I recently bought the colorful version of Mapei and I have mixed feelings. Kind of like that. Pros: Love the color scheme and design. But that's all. Cons: The material is NOT breathable at all. If you put it firmly to your mouth and blow it, the air almost does not pass. When I ride I need general breathability (at least in the summer) and it's not here. It stores heat, which is of course unsuitable for sports. Also, it was incredibly tight. Airflow prevented wearing when it was hot outside, but the snug fit was also a handicap. I liked the design though, so I ended up cutting a tiny slit on the inside of the hat. elastic part that stretches fully without cutting the real hat. Back then, it was just a snug fitting hat that sat comfortably on my head without being loose enough to fall off with movement. Now I wear it casually like a regular hat because I'm so weird.
