I bought this set of HV LEDs to use as accent lighting in a ceiling design. They work great with only one minor dimming issue. You can either use the supplied 2 pin 110v plug or cut it and connect directly to the high voltage wires. Be careful and turn off the breaker that powers the wires if the wiring is hard! Are they dimmable yes They are fully dimmable, no. I have used a Z-Wave MOSFET dimmer which works fine with other LED lights including low quality LEDs. However, this series of strip lights did not turn off completely. They stayed on with the dimmer off, with a very fake dim light. Any kind of other light in the area was enough to drown out the faint light they emitted when turned off. However, at night you can clearly see the light it gives off. The power consumed by this strip is also more than most smart dimmers can handle. If you use a smart dimmer, be sure to count before connecting. Instead of going back I decided to leave them and use the simple on/off method instead of dimming.
