I bought this for my kids (7 year old girl and 9 year old boy) because I thought it would be a great Christmas present for them. I WAS WRONG! It's cheaply made, the manufacturer put a VERY small weld on the nut at the bottom of the post which came loose by my 7 year old within an hour of use. I tried to fix the base by putting the nut back in the post but of course it can't be fixed especially after it came out when my son hit it the second time. The spring is also very weak, after limited use I noticed that it was no longer straight before it broke the first time. Since this is also a combo set with Focus and boxing gloves, I can briefly go into the remaining components. Focus gloves are well built, strong enough for a child but large enough to fit a grown man's hand. Boxing gloves are also a big minus except for the frame, but since it was a combined set I didn't expect much from a secondary component. They offer limited or no arm support with cheap fluffy filling, maybe good enough for a 3 year old. The only good aspect of the glove is the wrist strap. If possible, buy a separate set of gloves. Overall DO NOT BUY THIS PRODUCT. It's not worth your money or little assembly effort.
