Review on ๐Ÿ‘ฃ Powerstep SlimTech Pinnacle 3/4 Inserts for Men and Women - Neutral Arch Support, Plantar Fasciitis & Achilles Tendonitis Relief, Low Profile Design by Chris Fisher

Not suitable for low profile shoes

I have a fairly normal foot and don't usually wear special insoles in shoes, but I bought ballet flats and wanted a little more cushioning in them. This PowerStep model was recommended to me because of the brand and style of the shoe. Pros: I really like the firm arch support. Standing up straight, the insoles provided comfortable support and felt natural on my foot. Cons - The insole height was not appropriate for the low profile of this shoe. Where standing still was great, with every step the heel popped out of the boot. The stair test failed in the first step. I think that where the instep stiffness was great, the same stiffness going through the entire insert was too much - the insert didn't flex with my foot as I moved and pushed the boot off my foot. for not getting my needs met. A different style of shoe (sneakers or moccasins, something that fits closer to the foot or criss-crosses over the instep) works better with this insole. I ordered these inserts in sizes W6-6.5 and W7-7.5 for use in a W7 Flat Roti. Size W6-6.5 fits best and W6-6.5 fits my normal outdoor shoes (Rothy runs small).

Pros
  • Stylish and modern design
Cons
  • Not bad
