I wish the hoop earrings were wider to bring out the beautiful summer colors of the stones. I like the inside out design so the colors are visible from the back as well. My pair had such a hard time pulling the wire out that I knew I would never be able to pull off earrings with such a tight connection. I used my own nails to create more spacing between the bars. I wouldn't suggest using a tool; You can either break one of the "goal posts" or loosen them too much so the earrings don't buckle. I would have preferred a less time consuming method of attaching the hoops, but I really like the style of this design.
