Review on πŸ“š Fujitsu ScanSnap SV600: Efficient Overhead Book and Document Scanner for Streamlined Scanning by Richard Cartner

Revainrating 1 out of 5

Fujitsu ScanSnap SV600 scanner.

It saves time photographing every page in the book. Even if the software leaves a lot to be desired. Fingertip removal should be done on each side and 80% of the time you need to adjust the size of the selected area to cover the entire fingerprint. Color recognition is average, about 1 page out of 10 shows the wrong size. Generally not bad but I was hoping for something better from the Fijitsu brand. The scanner itself is decent, but the software needs an overhaul or allows the scanner to be used with other software. I've had another desktop scanner with the same software for a few years now, which no longer works and messes up all the scanned pages. I can't say if I would buy it again or not. I will definitely take a closer look at the other options as there are other options for half the price I paid for the SV600. For the price, there should be quality software as well as software updates while the device still works. Pros: Decent quality scanner (hardware). Cons: Expensive software. -8 years since my last Fujitsu scanner.
