The first impressions that I have are favorable. I installed an external sound card and some solid state storage. The computer moves quite quickly when playing games, but when it's being used for more typical tasks, it switches to the visual adapter that was built into the process, and the loading percentage on the video card is at 0%. Pros: The ratio of cost to value. The loaded video card operates without a hitch despite the high temperature it generates. Excellent technical support from HP, the opportunity to expand to 32 GB of RAM and to the next processor, and a modern architecture are all highlights of this computer. Cons: Because of the high warmth generated by a fully loaded video card, the case is on the tiny side and has poor ventilation. The heat emanating from this area of the body can be taken literally. According to HP support, temperatures of up to 92 (!) degrees are acceptable. The temperature ranges from 81 to 82 degrees when it is operating at full capacity. Outside of the hard drive slot, the case is completely devoid of spare room and expansion options.
