Great wallet for the right person.

This is not a wallet that can manage them all. There will be people who don't like it. But if, like me, you're looking for a very specific set of wallet items, then you'll love this one. Make sure you know this is a very small wallet. When full, it fits almost exactly the size of a deck of cards (except for the little black trigger that pops out credit cards). This is not a disadvantage; I consider this a feature. However, keep in mind that if you're looking for a wallet to stuff your back pocket, this isn't for you. The description says it can hold 12 cards, which is the DEFINITE maximum. I have five cards in the silver part (three in relief) and I can't add more. I've tried installing six non-embossed cards and they fit, but barely. Two "normal" pockets are sewn into the skin, each of which can hold a maximum of three cards. I have three cards with no embossing in one of them and I have to do a little work to get them out. You could put a few cards in the wallet part if you wanted, but that wouldn't be very secure. In all, I keep five cards in the silver compartment, three blank cards in one of the foam pockets, two blank cards and two paper cards in the other leather pocket, and two bills in the wallet. I don't carry a lot of cash (which is why I wanted a "bohemian" wallet in the first place). If you want to carry a lot of money with you, then this is not the best choice. I can comfortably carry five $20 bills as long as they're new and fresh. If I get a handful of very old and crumpled bills and put them in there, it's going to take a toll on my wallet. Which brings me to one of the reasons I deducted a star. The way everything is attached doesn't feel outrageously secure. The black (canvas I think) part of the wallet is attached directly to the silver part with some kind of glue. This part appears to be held to the leather part by some sort of thread. Needless to say, I don't trust this topic. Every time I open my wallet to get cash, I feel like I'm taking a few moments of life out of my wallet. This is especially true when I have multiple invoices. Another reason I deducted a star is that this wallet could have been a bit better. I mentioned that the leather card slots only hold three cards. If the leather part were a few millimeters wider on each side, these leather cases could hold significantly more items without sacrificing the wallet's properties. It just seems like a real missed opportunity to me.

Pros
  • Wallets, card cases and money organizers
Cons
  • Too long to wait
