This is by far the best Bluetooth speaker I have ever owned. It connects easily to all of our iPhones, plays at a good volume, sounds great, and has a long battery life. Having a lot of DeWalt 20v tools I snagged this speaker when it came out and wasn't disappointed, especially since our Bose Bluetooth speaker has stopped holding a charge. The sound fills the room inside (although I'm not sure if I turned the volume all the way up) and is easy to hear from outside or at work. I think it's a good compromise between size and sound quality and definitely sounds better than a Bose speaker. The grip is also well designed, allowing you to fit your phone in the slot at the top both vertically and horizontally. You can also route the cable through the center slot and plug it into the built-in USB port to charge your phone. Very convenient. I used a 2 amp battery to power it and only had to charge it twice a month or so I had it. As a real example yesterday we packed Christmas presents and played music at a moderate volume for about 6 hours and when I checked this morning the battery was still at 3 bars. In short, another winner from DeWalt.
