My cable arrived in packaging that said 'For Microphone Windscreen' which caused some confusion but as you can see in the picture can, it's that really included the cable. the item I ordered. The cable itself seems to be of sufficient quality. It's a bit of a concern that the Wii U gamepad expects an input voltage of 4.75V while USB expects 5V, which is 5.3% over spec; However, most devices are designed for a deviation of 5%, so in practice this is unlikely to be a problem. It is also very unlikely that the device is actually using 4.75V internally as this is well above the standard 3.7-4.2V range for Li-Ion batteries so it is in all likelihood already stepping down internally .
