Review on 🎧 Beyerdynamic DT 880 Pro: Superior Over-Ear Studio Headphones for Professionals by Todd Stepp

Revainrating 5 out of 5

If you want to improve your audio get these

I've had the DT 880 Pro for over a year now and have never regretted spending the money on it. Before that, I used paid Sony Extra Bass Wireless headphones with my computer. While they were great, they were too heavy for bass for me, and the closed design meant I couldn't get people into my room. I looked around and first looked at the AKG headphones on MassDrop (now Drop). I'm not a sound expert so I reached out to my friend and he recommended the 880 Pro over AKG headphones. I trusted him and made the purchase. What a wise decision. These were my first open-back headphones and my first really high quality studio headphones. I alternate between these and a couple of bookshelf speakers depending on the time of day (e.g. when people are sleeping and I don't want to disturb them). Their sound quality is top notch. If you like a lot of bass, you won't like these. It's a flatter sound profile, but they suit me because I don't listen to much bass-heavy music. One thing you need to know before buying is that you need an amplifier to use them properly. You don't have to be crazy. I use the Scarlet 2i2 recommended by the same friend and have had no problems. These headphones are also incredibly comfortable. I also use these headphones for gaming and have worn them on my head for over 8 hours without any problems. I feel like I'm speaking. This is a great headphone for the price. Comfortable, great sound quality, good build quality. If you're looking to take your audio gaming to the next level, I think this is a contender to consider.
