Editing my original review. On the second day of use, the "stump" just popped out at the bottom - you can see it in the photo. No cracks, leaks or breaks at the mating point. The plug just popped out. This seems to be the weak point in all these "soft" stress relief products. As I write this, another egg is licking a small but very clean (no crack) tear on the cork. It is on a clear egg and cannot be seen in the photos. If I find a way to show it I'll post another photo. Fairly durable and well made - as advertised. Used to relieve stress. Withstands fairly aggressive use. I assume they will last a long time. The only downside I see is that the yellow ball of yolk serves no purpose and looks a little weird. The more you use them, the more they stretch, leaving a significant amount of air space at the top. The biggest problem is that the eggs are very sticky and will pick up lint, pet hair, etc. They wash off fairly easily, but once dry they remain just as sticky as before. Repeated washing does not reduce their stickiness in any way. However, I like her.
