I don't really like it. Heavy, like metal. Very accurate. When it comes to hundredths of a millimeter, it's best to measure several times, as I've found that all my micrometers vary by a few hundredths of a millimeter, so I average the smallest measurements. I like that I can calibrate it by pressing the caliper to "zero" when it reads 00.01. I can press it a little harder, and when it stays at 00.01, I can press the "Set to Zero" button to create my desired "Absolute Zero". This works fantastic, especially when you have the exact diameter of the to Knowing the object being measured you can use the Create Zero button to create a true/reliable 00.00mil It all depends on how hard YOU want to squeeze the object (between the jaws) when measuring, because if you like to squeeze the object hard or prefer a softer grip/measurement of the pressure of the object, hundredths of a mil will be slightly different.
