When I cut the TV cable I needed to stream our evening entertainment. Looking for a simple and clean way, I chose ROKU HDMI streaming. They work very well. They were reliable, portable, and efficient, but they needed power. They came with a USB power cable and a wall adapter. I used a USB plug into a USB port on the TV but it had to power the TV, which eventually happened, but an outlet works better. We were fine except the weight of the power cord falls on the ROKU, which plugs into the TV's HDMI port. I know it sounds intrusive, but I needed a solution. Then I heard about these extensions. That and the use of a small plastic and wire hanger, which complements the grocery store, reduced the burden of the power cord's weight. Thanks to all.
