Bought to replace a beloved and still working Cuisinart I bought in 1995. This GE device is very beautiful and looks well made. Heats up quickly, display is nice, accessories seem to fit. The size is very convenient for six discs. Some early concerns were mostly about usability: - No bagel option (big mistake for me!) - The door appears to be designed to catch crumbs - The beeper is quite loud and there's no option to mute it - Forces you to set the cooking time -- The main rack feels fragile and cheap -- The crumb tray has a good non-stick coating.
