Didn't stick to the bottom of the Coleman nylon tent

We followed the directions and smoothed out the seam on our Coleman tent and after a week it came off. We used so much heat that the bottom of the tent was about to melt, but it couldn't last long. Other materials may be ok. It adheres well to cotton.
