My wintertime go-to shirt has been 10lb cotton rugby shirts for about 10 years now. They're the most comfortable of any shrts I've worn, and very warm. But they're wearing out. I need a replacement, and the price of them has become ridiculous. I saw this shirt and decided to give it a try. I decided I would wash it first before wearing it.good call. I did try it on first to make sure it fit (it does) before washing it though. It is a VERY warm shirt, and just as comfortable as the rugbys. The corduroy cuffs and collar do not scratch and are surprisingly comfortable. The description says "plaid" bit mine is a solid color. When I see this priced down I'll probably get one or two more.solid, not plaid.
