Review on πŸ‘ž TreadSafe Anti Slip Grip: Reliable Traction for Enhanced Safety by Ben Diesel

Revainrating 5 out of 5

No more butt bruises. (Ask me how I know this)

This tape has worked reasonably well so far. Put it on the painted concrete porch steps. I brushed them down first with soap and water and then let them dry for an hour. Outside temp. was in the seventies you need to think about what you want to use to cut the tape. I didn't want to dull it (and then sharpen the scissors). I decided to use a disposable blade. It took a straight edge and quite a bit of pressure to cut through. Since my treads are over forty-eight" wide, I precut strips and marked the treads for placement. This turned out to be my saviour. once you place this tape it won't come back. i rolled it mi first t sticky side out, then I unfolded and aligned the first two legs. I held the tape with my knee next to the twisted end and tore the backing off the end so it was sticking out a few inches. Thereafter, it peels off and adheres while maintaining alignment and sufficient tension. I highly recommend a second pair of hands and scissors to cut off the excess backing. Shorter strips should stick more easily. The surface of the strips is really tough. Even if a lot of pollen and dust has accumulated between wipes, the non-slip grip remains secure. We'll see how well the glue holds up in our summer heat and I'll let you know if we run into any problems. We regularly get high temps of between 107 and 110 but have climbed to 114. I really don't expect the tape to fail. Very satisfied so far!
