After looking into beeswax for months I finally made my decision and invested in it. This is a great product, my 4 and 5 year old kids love it. It doesn't have the mess associated with plasticine or modeling clay. Color will not bleed or peel. The sheets are larger than I thought, the box they come in is approximately 5" x 5" x 1.5". A quarter to a third of a sheet is sufficient. It can be used over and over again, before it wears out. feel it. Children can use the same small piece every day for about a week before they need a new piece. Used wax can be used to decorate the outside of plain candles to avoid wasting the wax itself is a bit more malleable than candlewax at room temperature, it needs to sit for a minute or two before using hands while I tell them a short story, part of the time of the story is good, and now they ask to keep the story closed all the time listen.I put off the order because of the hot summer but I don't think I need to.I thought it would have arrived as a melted mess but even on a 90 degree day it was s Pretty warm and soft, but after sitting at room temperature for a few hours it became very hard. We even put it in the fridge to firm up if needed and then kept playing with it, so I guess ordering in winter wouldn't be a problem either. I'm sure we'll be ordering more over time, but this box should last a few months.
