I bought this for what it was designed for. hard floors. I live in a small house with hardwood floors and linoleum. Like the other vacuums mentioned previously, this vacuum is NOT designed for large area rugs or rugs. There is no bar counter. I have a large dog that sheds heavily once a year. for 365 days! I also live on the coast. So my main concern is to pick up dog hair, dander and sand. It does a wonderful job. As I mentioned, this is a small house and the cord is long enough that I only have to plug it in two places to clean the entire house. It comes with a dust nozzle and a crevice nozzle. I like the retractable wand. It can be adjusted to any length you want to reach high or low. No need for a ladder. I can easily clean baseboards without bending over. Very easy. I like that the exhaust is at the top. It won't blow off dog hair and dust before you have time to vacuum. I also like that the HEPA filters are washable. I just hope I can find them easily if they need to be replaced. So far I'm keeping my 5 star rating.
