The resulting device was for a receiver that kept disconnecting from the transmitter due to conflicts with other WIFI channels. The replacement block always replaces channels to resolve conflicts. However, sometimes the transmitter would turn itself off and on again. After pressing the reset button, the device returned to normal operation. I am contacting J-Tech to see if the device I have purchased is suitable for my environment. I connected it to my security camera at home and the device is always on. The device may not have been designed for this type of environment.
