Review on Cuisinart CPT-2500 Long Slot Toaster: Silver 2-Slice Toasting Excellence by Megan Walker

I bought this toaster despite the fact that it was expensive due to the brand name and because it was one of the few toasters you could find in a small drawer. should have occurred. Other than that, I'm pretty disappointed, especially for a $60 toaster. Pros: 1. It looks very good2. Wide slot - easily fits 4 regular sized loaves of bread. Cons: 1. Toast is fried very unevenly2. The cord comes out the front, not the back (how silly) 3. The temperature dial is very easy to move and tap unconsciously, and therefore the readiness level of the toast changes without your knowledge. The price doesn't match the quality. This was one of the few toasters I could find in the sizes I wanted so I'm keeping it, but this toaster isn't of the quality I've come to expect from Cuisinart. I feel like I could get the same quality from a $25 toaster instead of $60! It also gets pretty hot on the outside because it's metallic, but that's about it. Be careful with children and pets around this toaster. Not as good as I hoped for this price and brand.
