I have not yet tried cooking with this cookware, maybe there is more to discover. I think a steamer basket that fits on top of the brew pot would make the set more complete, but it's just as good. I was so impressed with the look and usefulness of the dishes that I was willing to write a review that would rave, that is, until I washed it as they suggest. Gotham should also suggest that you don't submerge the lids while cleaning them. When you do this you will find that the rinsing water runs down the rim of the glass and cannot be removed. I was able to twist one of the lids until most of the rinse water was out, but this trick didn't work with the other lids. I don't know about you, but I don't like the idea of mixing standing water with food.
