UPDATE NOTE: I HAD TO WRITE an update on these glasses. I ended up taking her on vacation to France. I was gone for more than two weeks and luckily I wasn't where it was raining. I was on the Cote d'Azur. The sun is strong. And bright. I had absolutely no problem wearing them to the beach, pool, and outings. I could see clearly and the glasses held up really well. I will write about it in my blog. I am very happy that I made the purchase. These glasses weren't 100% what I expected, but given what they have in terms of non-bifocal readers, they're not the worst. I may have misunderstood what I was looking for. I need readers to be able to write my blog posts on the beach (I will be vacationing in France). My eyesight is terrible without my glasses, but I've lost or been in so many expensive sunglasses that I'm always on the hunt for the perfect read without the hefty price tag. The thing is, I really wanted to LOVE her. I thought the frame would be a bit bigger (for my big face). You are inferior. +250 power on these special glasses is not enough for reading. This is a big disappointment for me. I still can't read, so I have to lug my good glasses out into the sand and sea. Frame could be a bit heavier. However, this is not a complaint. What I REALLY like is that the tortoise shell design is very good - it doesn't look cheap. The glasses seem to be quite well made. Fits well too. Frames don't fall on me. I noticed that one review said the underside of the lens was clean. It must be a defect, because the lenses are completely dark. Although I may not be able to read in these classes, I can wear them when I go for walks and sightseeing. Trust me it's damn sunny in the south of France and these glasses will help me get rid of wrinkles because I won't blink! With a few tweaks by the company that makes these glasses, they can be epic. I hope they're working on it because it could be a serious contender. And for the price, you can't beat it! I'm tired of seeing lucky readers and I'm tired of just seeing bifocals!
