Finally. AFTER ALL! Thanks to this castor oil, I felt confident enough with my hair to wear it in all its glory. I can't believe the difference in my hair. Usually combing was a long and painful process full of broken hair, promises and dreams! Thanks to this material, my brush goes without knots and snags. I can finally wear my hair completely dry and still have defined curls and fluffy movement. I was dying to try it, so I applied it to my hair with no prep (other than a light spray) or wash and braided it with curling styling cream before bed. The dryer stood under the hood for a while and then went to bed. The next day my hair goals were finally achieved! My hair feels thick that leaves a mark when I touch it. But I think that's because I didn't start with freshly bleached, washed hair, but used it as a leave-in. Next time I'll try it as a prewash and see how it feels. Now I will say that the roasted flavor is a bit amazing. My friend was unfamiliar with this and confirmed that it was definitely the distinctive castor oil flavor that was given to the oil when he was a kid. But he said it just smells like fried food, not bad. The first night I added some vanilla essential oil to reduce it. After that I didn't care anymore. It diffuses and the benefits MUCH outweigh the taste. I'm so excited. Something that keeps what it promises! AFTER ALL! After all, as it says on the bottle, it's versatile. I applied it to my lips and face and my skin looks and feels incredibly soft and hydrated. For context: 4B hair in back, 3B hair in front and dry like a witch, you know what!
