Possible Product Defect

As with all negative reviews, remember that companies have manufacturing defects from time to time. That doesn't mean ALL of these headsets are bad, just the one I bought. Overall, I believe Plantronics makes some of the highest quality audio products on the market. They last a long time and cost extra money. I have recommended and used them both personally and professionally and have not been disappointed. Accessories: The hook turned out to be very flimsy and cheap, which is unusual for Plantronics devices. The headset came with small jelly ear pieces of different sizes, which my ear didn't really like - it itched. The charger is a standard USB wall charger (one-piece, so no spare USB cable). There was a crackling sound out of the box, which I put down to Bluetooth interference (I live in an apartment building), but keep it in your hands. Keep in mind I've used Plantronics professional wireless headsets and rarely seen interference, but this is multi-channel radio, not Bluetooth. After about a week of use the device refused to be recognized by my computer so I tried connecting to my phone and that didn't work either, although there were no other signs of device failure - all lights are flashing as expected and the sound prompts come out well. It was within the return period so I sent the device back. Also the archive picture is wrong. This is a standard look small white Bluetooth headset with one ear and an optional earhook. Google the Marquee M155 for some good photos.
