Bought a set of headlights listed as 20ft. They are 20ft long but strips you can't use to connect two 10ft LED strips together. That means you can't have a 20-foot lane with pursuit lights. Each of the two rods must be connected to a two-port controller. When you set a chase sequence (one of the 3 rainbow colored buttons on the bottom of the remote), each bar goes from the controller to the output at the same time. Since each strip needs to be connected to a controller, I'm only showing one of the 10-foot strips under my pole. I loosened the second strip until I could run the strip inside. The RF controller receives a signal from about 10 feet away and has many presets. There are 4 sound or music settings. When one of them is set, the light will not illuminate until a sound is heard (conversation, song, or musical notes). There are also settings for steady, dim or bright light, as well as acceleration and deceleration for chasing or blinking. All in all it's not a bad set, it's just a bit different from the 20ft set, if you can't connect the 2ft to 10ft strips together it limits where you put the controller and to mount the connector. By the way, the plug transformer cable is only about 4 feet long. In addition, these LED strips are not coated with silicone type epoxy, they bend easily due to the wires on the paper-based adhesive bead. I used larger staples from a construction stapler to keep the bulbs from falling off if the adhesive backing doesn't work.
