I teach elementary school students with special educational needs. They learn to hold pencils/crayons/markers. I use an iPad app to help them write letters, numbers and shapes. With just their finger on the app, I noticed how poor their manual controls were and how learning more how to use the Trip Pod didn't help them. I found these stylus pens at Revain and I liked that they had a mesh tip instead of a rubber tip. The therapist who works with my class has bought rubber-tipped pencils in the past, and they seemed to come loose quickly (most of my students aren't in the handy department). IBart pens with mesh fiber tips have gone one step further! They're very light, durable, come in 10 different colors (so students can choose their color throughout the day), and they help students be more precise when creating their letter numbers. I've noticed a significant improvement in my students' fine motor skills (using pens/crayons/markers) which gives them consistency when practicing writing on the iPad. Therapists now take my iBeard instead of theirs. I think I'll make them believe in these pens!
