I like this bag. I think it's good value for money. it's nice and easy. Obviously not for protection as this is a magnetic clasp on the case. I don't understand why other reviewers are upset that their iPad got damaged because it doesn't have protection. that's not what it's for! As for the magnet, I can't compare it to an apple as I've never had one. others say it's not as strong a magnet as I can imagine. However, if you don't try to pull on it or force it to come loose, it won't come loose. I stood for a while and he never fell.
