They are very similar to bathing shoes. They're light and flexible, almost a minimalist shoe (without the $100 price tag). The first day I had pain in my legs towards the end of the day due to such poor arch support, but after a few days I got used to it and haven't had any pain in my legs since. From what I've read, this is typical of going from a standard hiking shoe to a minimalist style shoe. Your legs use different muscles, and it's best to stretch them slowly. I've been wearing them almost every day for over a month now and they still look brand new. Since they're so cheap I'm considering getting a pair in a different color.
