Review on πŸš— Enhanced Safety: New 4 Parking Sensors LED Display Car Reverse Backup Radar System by Evan Beougher

Just take your time and the installation will not be a problem.

Installed on a 1999 Civic. In general, everything worked perfectly. The first thing (and it takes the most time in my opinion) is to measure where you're going to install them. I crawled under the car first to look at the bumper and see where the steel beams, gas tank and such were, to make sure I didn't accidentally bump into anything and to make sure I could put my hands over the bumper can to drive the cable after drilling holes. In my case, the metal bar is in the center of the bumper, so I had to make sure I was in the top 3 inches of the bumper for the sensors to clear. Measuring from the ground which puts them 22" off the ground, from what I've read is a reasonable height to set them up (I think between 18" and 25" was recommended from what I've read. I think that Main problem is if you get too low you will pick up the ground and it will just beep all the time). The next step was to measure them and keep them about 18 inches apart but centered on the car so it doesn't look sloppy. After that I found a reverse light, traced the wires to a spot where the power could easily be plugged in, and connected power and ground to the back. I then tested all the sensors before drilling the holes by simply gluing them to the back of the car on the bumper and flipping them backwards to see if it worked. what they did I then soldered the wires to make sure they didn't come loose, drilled holes, pulled out the trunk mat on the side to hide everything back, and wired everything up. In my case I wasn't interested in the distance sensor's small screen, I just needed to hear the sound, so I stuck the screen in the trunk high enough and close enough to the back of the rear seat to hear it clearly. when belaying. Works very well. The first signal is about 5 feet away, the faster ones are 3 feet, the hard ones are about 1 foot. Works perfectly. Very happy. In addition to a drill, I needed a soldering iron, tape and a flathead screwdriver for the installation. Really nice.
