Review on 🎸 theBalm Balm Jovi Rockstar Palette: Amplify Your Look with Iconic Shades by Leanne Young

This is my first time using theBalm's product. I saw this product in a YouTube beauty blogger's review and was intrigued enough to try it myself. What a great set! The eyeshadows have a wonderfully creamy feel and are available in a variety of matte, shimmering and shimmering shades. The variety in the color palette isn't great, but that's ok because what's there is the majority of what I wear, so it suits my needs. The fun factor goes through the roof with this little palette. Eight of the 12 Shadows have fun names based on rock bands: Metal-ica (shiny silver), Iron Maid-in (shiny gold), Lead Zeppelin (shiny lead grey), Alice Copper (shiny copper). lilac), Blink 1982 (shimmering beige), The Stroke (shimmering navy blue), rem (shimmering orchid) and Third Eye Blinded (shimmering pale pink). The other 4 shades are named after musical tempi: Adagio (matte light beige), Allegro (matte latte), Moderato (matte dark purple), and Presto (matte dark color that appears brown). peachy pink) and a highlighter (SUPER glowing beige gold) and two lip colors that double as cheek colors (cherry red and an almost nude pale pink). The set also includes a mirror in the shape of a heart. I've seen a lot of bulky makeup palettes but this one is very compact and I could definitely travel with it. The palette is magnetized at the top and bottom so it closes securely, and it even has an outside pocket you can use when traveling to keep everything in place on the go. Really impressive packaging! I have sensitive skin and most eyeshadows (except Almay's hypoallergenic line) irritate me. I haven't had any major issues with these shadows burning or my eyelids itching. I'm a little itchy from the super glossy shades, probably because the particles are bigger, but that's not enough to be a big problem and only bothers me when I'm wearing eyeshadow for a long time. For those who are sensitive to fragrances (like me), I didn't notice any odor with the shadows. However, lip products are scented; They smell like something like lip balm or lip gloss. In fact, it's only noticeable when I put my nose right up to her. I recommend this palette especially for those who like light eyes and don't mind shimmery/shiny shadows.
